In 2018 cannabis became legal to prescribe in the UK for chronic pain when conventional treatments have failed. The main medical cannabis products we use at Borders Pain Clinic come in capsules and oils.
We use the Script Assist App to safely prescribe medicinal cannabis for eligible patients.

If you have been diagnosed with a chronic and painful condition and you have tried at least two different treatments from your GP you may be eligible for medicinal cannabis.

An initial consultation fee will be payable to Borders Pain Clinic. If you choose to proceed to a treatment programme you will require three monthly review appointments invoiced to Borders Pain Clinic
Medicinal cannabis is not currently available for chronic pain via the NHS.
You will be invoiced for your medicinal cannabis prescription by Script Assist. Your treatment will then be sent discreetly and securely directly to your door.
